Leon,
I don't have a good picture of the wheels. Basically the bottom is a 2x4 frame, with a 3/4" plywood skin on top. 6 - 4" 100 lbs rated wheels are attached to the bottom of the plywood. (one in each corner and 2 in the middle of the long sides) Thus, 1/2" of wheel protrudes from the bottom of the frame. The L block are about 5/8" thick on the bottom to lift the wheels off the ground, making the bench fixed. Based on the article, the finished bench is about 400 lbs. full. So, it does not move. Solid as a rock. But, pull out the L blocks and roll it where ever. |
