I have to constantly use scotch brite pads on my 2 bosch router bodies
to get rid of the oxidation, so that they will move in their bases. Bosch even replaced one router when it would no longer move. Anyone have a solution to the oxidation problem with these magnesium cases. Seems like they should have coated them. I have tried wd40, and wax.. I know (wax was a bad idea) but I needed to spend more time working and less cleaning. This is not a humid env, it is a material problem from what the Bosch service guy told me. Anyone come up with a way of preventing the oxidation? |
