I think a lot of folks did this in the states but really got into it when they moved here... I would guess that most of them are retired, with the exception of the sculptor and the guy that does the large paintings.. Were the tables in picture #20 yours or someone else? Someone else's, for sure.. If I can't chuck it up in the lathe, I suck at it.. *g* mac Please remove splinters before emailing |

A lot better than expected, since we were there more for exposure and networking.. Sold 4 or 5 items and took home about $300.. And why's everybody got long sleeves and sweaters on? Didn't look all that cold to me. Saturday was WINDY... brought to us courtesy of Southern Calif... Stuff was blowing over and the gusts off of the water were pretty cold, but I think most folks were after wind protection more than keeping warm.. it was in the high 60's.. Sunday was great with very little wind and nice sun.. in the low 70's and very much the winter weather that we moved here for.. There's some pretty wild paintings there! I liked 'em... Yeah, his stuff is expensive, but he sells a lot of stuff... I was thinking that the Caddy would look good over a headboard..lol He sold a $500 painting Saturday, but had a great Sunday: 2 paintings for about $1,500 and a commission to paint a mural in someone's home.. He was very happy.. :-] ...Kevin mac Please remove splinters before emailing |
