Default Question about Newsgroup

Can anyone recommend a better news reader, than Outlook Express?

Preferably that can include RSS feeds and that is a freebie.

Thanks.

Adding in the RSS would be very good.

When I exit from a group (have the option set to mark all as read) ... if it
actually did that.

To synchronise the data correctly ... was reading in one group that the
users had moved to a moderated version of the same group and there was no
sign of it in OE ... even when I reset everything. Checked on Google and
it's definitley there. Downloaded a newsreader (scrapped because it was
awful) but even that found it.

Xnews takes a little bit of learning, but does everything well. If Outlook
Express is a 1, Xnews is 10,000.

You get that with IE 7.0

When I exit from a group (have the option set to mark all as read) ... if
it actually did that.

In OE if you right click the group name in the folders box click you will
see "Catch up" click that and all items will be marked as read.

To synchronise the data correctly ... was reading in one group that the
users had moved to a moderated version of the same group and there was no
sign of it in OE ... even when I reset everything. Checked on Google and

That is probably more of a ISP problem rather than your reader.
