Default Header Tank

Is it possible for the header tank in the loft to be relocated say 6
feet to one side of the hot water cylinder?

I know the vent should "rise continuously" but would a bit of
horizontal be allowed?

Mine has a "slow rise", just a few degress of "horrizontal"
