Default Glow-worm 30 cxi.

Regarding the visit from my plumber,I was wondering if a cheaper
boiler like a Biasi or Halstead would be reliable,is it reliable?

I'm thinking of getting a cheaper than Vaillant, Glow-worm 30cxi,any
comments?

My 24Cxi is 3 years old, never missed a beat. IIRC they are
really Vaillants without the fun bits (like a laptop socket and
the ability to find out all sorts of fascinating runtime
statistics).

So I think it will be the Glow-worm then, do these boilers come with a
timer?

The Envoy is probably why lots of installers hold/held that
condensing = bad news.

You can get the Glow-worm plug-in one that replaces the logo on
the front panel, but IIRC it's a very basic twice on/twice off
timer. As long as you are prepared to read the instructions so as
to get the benefit, you'd be much better advised to buy a 7-day
programmable stat which will turn the heating up and down/off to
suit your lifestyle.

I tried to get an image of the timer but could not find it.
