Default Double Images (Ghosting) in Sony TV

Hi:

My Sony TV model KV-27-FV300 has developed an issue recently.

Video input from any source (VCR/DVD/Satellite box/Cable box) makes the
picture grainy and images are doubled slightly. I'm not seeing the
picture quality that this model usually delivers. I switch on the TV
and change the channel to "Video 1". I press "Display" on the remote so
that the channel label displays on the screen. The moment I connect the
yellow video cable to the output of any source, the "Video 1" shows as
double and the picture quality comes up as grainy. I've tried channel 3
with a co-axial cable but with the same result.

I have also tried to connect another TV and the picture is perfect,
i.e. no double images or ghosting.

This problem developed overnight, one night it was OK and the next
morning, the TV came up like this.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

AJ.
