Default Wall mounted telephone stand and holder for book

This was built out of scrap, using cherry and just a little
walnut. The stand is fastened to a stud inside the wall for
strength. The lowest part is a blind bin that holds the wall wart
and duplex receptical to power the telephone. Above that is a
shelf unit to hold a telephone book, with the cordless
phone/answering machine on a sloped top, surrounded by a
half-inlaid dowel to prevent it from sliding off.

Nicely done - from your other posts I gather either you really like walnut
and cherry or someone gave you a whole bunch of very nice wood!

The answer is, "Yes." grin I told this before, but the place
where I bought my hardwoods decided to close and move out of town.
.. . at midnight. It was a case of breaking their lease on the
building and getting the stuff out before the landlord stopped
them. I happened to go by the following AM and literally met the
fellow as he was looking around to see if he'd gotten all out that
he wanted. He GAVE me what was left, and my Dodge Dually was so
overloaded with the culls that I had trouble steering on the way
home. I'd guess that it was a mix of about half cherry and half
walnut with about a fourth mahogany and an eighth rock maple.
grin and excuse that Missouri math What was culls to him was
treasure to any woodworking hobbyist and I was in fat city, as
they say.

It's official: you truly suck.

Of course it is, Nonny.

P.S: You _still_ suck, 'specially after gloating on the gloat.
