Questions on Rewiring a flat
 

How do you rewire a flat with solid floors and (old) dry-lined walls? I've done some house rewiring before gut this looks a lot trickier. How do you get the cables to the ceiling rose - does it mean a new ceiling?
I'd be grateful for any advice.
