Grundig GDS200 "No Signal fault"

I've got this digibox with 13V present at the lnb output with "No
Signal" on screen. I've confirmed the dish is ok with another
digibox. What could be wrong here?

Thanks

I've changed the psu caps in this digibox already. Whats the circuit
ref for ZIF chip? Do you know where I can obtain a service manual for
this digibox?

Thanks

The ZIF chip is the big fella in the digital tuner module, and requires
specialist infra-red top and bottom soldering equipment to replace. Friend
of mine used to have all the gear for it and did lots of them on various
manufacturer's boxes, and I'm pretty sure that Grundigs were amongst them.
Don't know whereabouts you are, but if in the UK

offer tuner and I think whole digibox repairs. Check out their very helpful
website. You might also like to take a look at Martin Pickering's very good
website with technical help forums
