According to the radio Bush phoned the governor for 2 days asking him to let
the government to send help. The governor refused help for people standing
on the roof of their houses for 2 days. As I understand it Bush couldn't
send in any help unless the governor asks for it by federal law. This was on
the Lars Larson radio show last week.
