Depends on the language(s) whoever I'm talking to is comfortable with!
For non-Slavic speakers, it's 'Zarba' - like 'Zorba the Greek' with an
'ar' in place of the 'or'. In Polski or similarski companyski, it's
pronounced the Polish way (there are cognate words immediately
recognisable in Czech, Russian, and probably most other Slavic
languages). But ninety-five or more times out of a hundred, it's just
Stefek, which is pretty much the same in both settings ;-)
