what I thought I was saying.

It was. Not that I have anything against Russian novels per se, just the
older, heavier ones. Even One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovitch (sp?) was
confusing, all those names, all those patronyms - and yet the Soviet (non
IT) system still managed to control lives - for a time.

Makes one wonder about the value of IT designers and engineers ... :-)
