OK, I will rant. I just use Google news reader. Yes newsgroups are
old technology living in this modern age. Alt binaries is always a

Echo that. I'm an old school usenet user but to be frank, the binary groups
are not worth chasing after anymore. There are tons of free web sites to
upload pictures to and then just post the link. Everybody can see it, it
generally shows better, and it generally downloads better. Let the binary
groups die. They've served their purpose and no longer do.

Build your own website. Then you can include photos and text as you
please and modify as you see fit. Works for me.
I can't access Facebook as I don't have an account there, so that
doesn't work for me.
