1. I sort through message headers like i sort through junk mail at
the post office. I hated it at first, and it sort of got to me a bit.
Then I decided to take the easy way: Just sort through it. It takes
just a few moments with practice; not worth the worry.
2. The troll doesn't know or care who you are. He is sick, and needs
help. The best way to deal with him is to completely ignore him aside
form an accidental peek at an anonymous message [mine is so that I
won't get email from those assholes.] Then it's easy to deal with
thatr if you set your newsreader to autosort messages according to
title: See one, and easily delete similar ones since they are sorted
together. if you do it without thinking [don't let it get to you],
you'll find it takes no time to deal with it.
The BEST way to deal with him is to STOP replying to him, or talking
about him. So this is my last message on the subject. He just wants
to get up your skirt, so if you ignore him he'll wither away. He
needs an audience, so why give him what he wants?
So, stop this thread, and others like it. Just deal with it privately
and calmly and stop bitching, and he'll starve. Spend your time
dropping in a few hints instead. I could use some now and then,
having just turned a pile of cherry into matchsticks [I'll deal with
that one.] The best way to push out the weeds is to plant more grass
seed.
