I personally don't give a rat's ass what Dave charged, but it is
entertaining to watch all yall play tard-ball with our favorite rube.
I live in L.A., and my shop rate is $40hr, which is damn cheap as far
as I can tell. This means I have more work than I know what to do
with, and I can pick/choose jobs (mostly friends) on my own whim. The
backlog is about three years and counting. Currently working on a
simple cherry fireplace mantel for some friends in the O.C.
