The canisters all look really good, and I like a sturdy bowl. I am

Sycamore is nice. I'm not sure what I have laying around right now but
if I can find some rowan blanks would you be interested in a swap?
Outside we have 2' of snow so finding any there isn't too likely but I
may have some smaller pieces in the shop, I'm not too sure - I'll have
to look around but there may be something out there.
Rowan is a common decorative tree up here. Don't know about where you
are. It has bright red berries in late summer and is a really pretty
tree when they come out. Unfortunately, it's a very wet tree so usually
suffers from heart rot when the tree gets to any size. But there's
always some sound wood in it...

Sure, a swap sounds good. I've got loads of smaller blanks and only
Sweetgum, Sycamore and cedar in larger blanks. I turn on an expanding
bowl chuck, so all my blanks have the dovetail recess and are dry
enough to turn.
