Default Advice on Shop vacs......and sawdust collector question. I need a shop vac badly and want to get a good one.

All help appreciated.

Here's an article on the subject of dust collection; it might guide you in
using whatever vac you buy for that purpose:

I got one of these setups and it keeps most sawdust from ever getting into
my shop-vac. I had to replace the fairly skinny hose that was on my
shop-vac, but I already had a fatter hose connected to the router table and
when I used that this cyclone worked like a charm. If you use you new vac
for collecting sawdust from a power tool like a tablesaw this is a good way
to avoid having to clean the vac filter all the time.
