Sorry about that. What do you do with pdf files?

I believe that even for OE there is a plugin to enable yEnc. It is
certainly fully supported by my free Xnews reader.


OE is going to become a thing of the past. It is no longer included in
Windows, so anyone upgrading to buying Windows 7 will have to find a
new news reader. I just started using Forte Agent. It will do the
yEnc files also.

So far though, I'd rather use OE. It just seems to work easier than
Agent, although Agent does have a few more features if you have need
for them.

When I had opportunity to use OE, it was so full of security holes that I
passed on it. I still use Eudora for email (and now also gmail in
firefox). When Netscape went to its umptieth version (and subsequently
went bust) I switched from the netscape reader to Xews. It still works
fine for me.
