Default A bed promise fullfilled

Did you *glue* all those verticals into the mortises? If so, it looks
like a
potential glue-up nightmare to me! You'd definitely want to use a glue
with a long open time...

The top and bottom rails for the head and footboard are mortise & tenon
and they were glued. The slats were press fit into each mortise. I used an
18 ga. brad on the inner bottom of both the headboard and footboard and
left the upper portion of the slats free-floating to allow for expansion. I
wouldn't even want to try to glue all 32 slats that were in each
head/footboard. Besides, I thought it would rack it's self apart with
seasonal movement.
