Default panel router gloat

One of the kids in my beginner class has a dad who works for Target. I
mentioned in class about another company that donated some things for pen
turning (blanks, mandrels, the works) and how appreciative I was. The boy
mentioned it to his dad and evidently the dad thought that he could do
better. He talked to his superiors and they contacted me. BTW, the kid got
an "A" in my class.

That is just great, and very gloat-worthy. I've heard Target donates
5% of their *gross* to local causes.

It's good to see it in action. That is an awesome panel router.

What process did you / somebody in the school district follow to get
the donation?

Target is, in my opinion, a great store. Let me tell you why. The local
distribution center made a donation to the Industrial Arts Department in
the
school where I work. They gave me in the wood shop the panel router
below,
as well as a drill press, a band saw (both Craftsman) and a Baldor
grinder.
They gave the auto shop a vertical milling machine. Today was the last
day
of school befor the summer, but at least my kids and I got to set the new
gear up, so we will be set to go when the new year starts in August.
They
gave another local HS a horizontal metal lathe, another drill press and a
radial arm saw.

While my gloat isn't for my personal gain, I still think it is worth
gloating about.

Thanks, Target
