Our deepest sympathies. We lost the last of ours just a few weeks ago
in January. We're still trying to get used to it but still often think
we see him coming round the corner or hear his bell in the next room.

17 years is excellent. Our last two only made it 8-9 years. We're not
sure our emotions can handle another but then we hate not having the
little guys around, always knowing when you need a friend.

It is with a tear in my eye that I am writing this. My shop cat and
our dear friend has gone away.

He was with us for 17 years and although I didn't want a cat our
daughter got what she wanted. When she married 9 years ago we got
custody of Lucky. By then I couldn't let him go. He will never be
forgotten.
