I didn't know. That's why I asked. I could not determine from his
wording whether he did not use guide bushings at all when using a
table, or if he mounted the bushing to the router base. Turns out that
both were true, but that answer (and your reaction) only tells me that
we are all looking at the elephant from different perspectives.
